Choose Concrete Finish

Two distinct finish options for different design goals.

Best for authentic architectural look

Natural Sealed GFRC

Real concrete. Never painted.

Our sealed concrete finish showcases the natural beauty of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, with subtle tone variation, surface movement, and a handcrafted architectural look. Unlike many fire pits on the market, the surface is never painted—the color and character come from the concrete itself and are protected with three layers of clear high-performance sealer. GFRC is lighter and stronger than traditional cast concrete, with glass-fiber reinforcement that improves durability and helps reduce the risk of structural cracking.

Polymer Coating

Solid matte color with enhanced surface protection.

Our high-performance polymer coating creates a smooth, uniform matte finish with bold mid-century inspired color options. Applied as a durable shell-like surface, it offers enhanced resistance to scratches, stains, UV exposure, chemicals, and acids while helping maintain a consistent appearance over time. This finish is ideal for customers who want a more refined, design-forward look with stronger surface protection and greater color consistency than natural concrete, especially in demanding outdoor environments.

Choose Burner Ring

Classic flame or PyroMania Thruster Techonlogy

Choose the flame profile that best fits your space and style. The Classic Ring delivers a clean, even flame with a more traditional presentation, while PyroMania’s Thruster Ring uses brass thruster jets and proprietary vortex air induction to create a taller, fuller, more dramatic flame with the same BTU. Designed for greater visual impact and efficient fuel use, the Thruster Ring is ideal when you want the fire itself to become a focal point.

Bottom clearance: about 4" high if it's an APPE ignition. It's 8" high if it's the other ignition types. There is empty room around the burner assembly. Please note this fire pit cannot hide propane tank underneath. A matching propane tank cover can be purchased to hide the tank cover and also work as a side table.

Burner pan size: 48"x 12", rectangle, stainless steel

Burner ring size: 42" linear, stainless steel

Table weight: 170 pounds

Table material: GFRC (Glass fiber reinforced concrete)

Heat output: 100,000 BTU (limited to 65000 BTU if you choose an APPE ignition and connected to a 20lbs portable propane tank unless a variable flame height control feature is ordered. Check Q&A for details)

Certification: Due to the custom-built nature of our made-to-order fire pits, CSA certification does not apply to the complete unit. However, these models incorporate CSA-certified or equivalent components engineered for safety and performance. If full CSA certification is required, we recommend selecting from our standard fire pit collection.
Note: Buyers are responsible for verifying all local, state, and municipal codes, permits, and installation requirements prior to purchase. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and may include product certification or registration.

CONSTRUCTION

PyroMania "made-to-order" series fire tables are hand cast from top-quality Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) and available in two refined finishes: sealed concrete in two natural tones, or our exclusive polymer coating offered in 11 mid-century modern colors. The burner systems are constructed from premium materials such as solid brass, 18-gauge 304 stainless steel and anodized aluminum and assembled with CSA certified parts. The proprietary burner design sheds any water that migrates into the burner ring. Equipped with whistle free gas pipes which are made of epoxy coated 304 stainless steel and fitted with solid brass connections. They come with 2 easily convertible fuel types (natural gas or propane) and 3 ignition types to meet diverse needs of your project. If you choose a flame sense spark ignition or APPE ignition, it's also packed with safety features flame recognition to ensure that the system shuts down (if unable to automatically re-light first with the pilot installed) in case of wind blow-out.

FAQs

Compared to standard fire pit with a flame sense spark ignition, what is the difference from the "made-to-order" fire pits?
  1. PyroMania standard fire pits are preassembled and ready to ship; while the "made-to-order" fire pits are assembled in California and lead time is about 2 weeks.
  2. "Made-to-order" fire pits have a higher heat output (65,000-100,000 BTU) than the standard models (50,000 BTU).
  3. "Made-to-order" models use commercial grade materials which are heavier duty and therefore more durable.
  4. "Made-to-order" fire pits are installed with a standing pilot which can relight the fire pit if the flame is blown out. It is a better choice for windy locations. While our standard models have the auto shutoff feature but cannot automatically relight when the flame is out, which is also available for made to order fire pits.
  5. "Made-to-order" models offer 3 burner system options and thruster burner ring. While standard models are preassembled with a flame sense spark ignition so no change can be made for its burner.
  6. Standard fire pits are CSA certified while due to the custom-built nature of our made-to-order fire pits, CSA certification does not apply to the complete unit. However, these models incorporate CSA-certified or equivalent components engineered for safety and performance.

Can I put a PyroMania fire table on a wood or synthetic deck?

Yes, PyroMania fire tables have a heat shield incorporated underneath the burner pan and can be placed on a wood or synthetic deck. Legs are recommended to create more room for ventilation.

Does the firepit materials handle freeze and thaw?

All PyroMania firepits are made from GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) which has a better ability to expand and contract than traditional concrete and much less likely to suffer from structural cracks. GFRC is considered a gold standard material for extreme weather which makes it the ideal material for outdoor fire features.

Is PyroMania Pro designed for residential or commercial use?

PyroMania Pro is designed for both residential and commercial settings, featuring commercial-grade materials and high-operformance burner systems which offer the most intelligent control options on the market.

Can I upgrade my existing PyroMania series fire pit to add a timer or emergency stop/key/remote control?

No, the PyroMania series are pre-installed with a flame sense ignition. You need to order a PyroMania Pro model with an APPE ignition in order to have those features.

Why is BTU limited to 65,000 for the fire pit connecting to a 20lbs portable propane tank? How can I get a bigger flame?

A 20lbs portable propane tank can only vaporize at a limited rate under ideal conditions. When a fire pit demands more gas than a 20lbs tank can supply, several problems may occur: flame inconsistency and sputtering; tank freezing (regulator freeze-up); increased regulator stress. If the fire pit is set at 100,000 BTU and connected to a portable propane tank, suggest adjusting the flame height when needed to avoid the problems mentioned above, especially during winter. Flame height control comes with our fire pits with a match lit ignition or a flame sense spark ignition. It is an optional feature for APPE ignition. To get a bigger flame with a 65000 BTU firepit, you can choose our thruster burner ring which will generate about twice the size of flame as the standard burner ring.
