CONSTRUCTION
Pyromania Series fire pits are hand made from high performance Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. GFRC is lighter compared to materials like marble and stone but provides the same level of durability while giving a natural handcrafted look. On the other hand, due to the glass fibers mixed in the GFRC help to reinforce the concrete, it's stronger than MGO (Magnesium Oxide) Without paint in GFRC and with 3 coats of clear sealer makes it more colorfast to withstand the outdoor elements. Each fire pit features a matt finish and distinctive pattern on the body. As a manufacturer, we hold security with the same level of importance as quality.
PyroMania series fire tables are equipped with a CSA certified, thermo-couple-controlled 50,000 BTU (Avalon, Mod and Tao are 60,000 BTU) stainless steel burner and convenient flame sense spark ignition (1.5v battery powered). They also feature a flame-out auto shut-off system to guarantee safe usage. They come with 2 easily convertible fuel options: natural gas and propane.

PyroMania Pro is a made to order series of fire pits offering 3 different ignition types (match lit, flame sense with spark, adaptive plug & play electronic); while PyroMania series are fire pits installed with a flame sense spark ignition. Compared to PyroMania series, PyroMania Pro firepits use commercial grade materials that are more durable, and their burner generates more heat (65000-100000 BTU). You can also opt for a thruster burner ring which generates twice the height of flame as a standard burner ring.

Compared to PyroMania Pro series with a flame sense spark ignition, what is the difference from the PyroMania series?
- PyroMania series are preassembled and ready to ship; while PyroMania Pro series are made to order and lead time around 1-2 weeks.
- PyroMania Pro series have higher BTU (65k except Arroyo 100k) While PyroMania series are 50k BTU except Avalon, Tao and Mod 60k.
- PyroMania Pro series use commercial grade materials which are heavier duty and therefore more durable.
- PyroMania Pro series are installed with a standing pilot which can relight the fire pit if the flame is blown out. It is a better choice for windy locations. While PyroMania series have the auto shutoff feature but can not automatically relight when the flame is out.
- PyroMania Pro series can install a different ignition type and opt for thruster burner ring. While PyroMania series are preassembled with the flame sense spark ignition so no change can be made for its burner.
Can I put a PyroMania fire table on a wood or synthetic deck?
Yes, PyroMania fire tables have a heat shield incorporated underneath the burner pan and can be placed on a wood or synthetic deck.
If my gas line is underground can be connected under the unit hiding the connection? Or does it have to be outside the table?
We designed our fire tables with both types of installations in mind. If you have an underground gas line, it can be connected inside the cavity of the fire table through the bottom. All Pyromania Series fire tables have a supply hose pre-installed and connected to a bulkhead connection which is discreetly located underneath the bottom side. The hose can be disconnected, and the bulkhead fitting can be removed from the body and relocated inside the fire table cavity. Then the hose can be reconnected to the bulkhead fitting on one end and connected to your gas line "stub-up" at the other end.
Should I have to install legs on PyroMania fire pits to allow ventilation inside the fire pit?
Legs are optional for PyroMania firepits, but fresh air must be able to pass under the fire table to safeguard against residual gas accumulation. Failure to allow proper ventilation may cause a fire or explosion. If installing PyroMania fire table without the optional legs, it should be placed on a hard level surface that allows proper ventilation through the ½” gap incorporated into the bottom. If the installation method blocks the incorporated gap, then an alternative method for allowing ventilation would be required.
Required minimum clearances to combustible materials:
Sides and back - 48 inches. Top - 72 inches.
Does the firepit materials handle freeze and thaw?
All PyroMania firepits are made from GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) which has a better ability to expand and contract than traditional concrete and much less likely to suffer from structural cracks. GFRC is considered a gold standard material for extreme weather which makes it the ideal material for outdoor fire features.
